Megan Butler, an instructor in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric (English), has published "‘Translating’ a Times Article to Reach New Audiencs". This is wonderful for Megan and we are delighted to share her accomplishment here. In addition, we are sharing this because it is an excellent and useful description of one way that a reading and writing project can be carefully scaffolded to support students. It also describes a way of teaching about genre and audience that may be useful for those who are teaching writing across disciplines.
