Mehari Worku is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures (MELC) at the University of Washington.

Mehari partnered with Melike Yucel-Koc for the 2024-2025 Writing@UW Fellowship, where they collaborated on a project titled Enriching the Gateway to the Middle East Through Writing.
