No matter your chosen path of study, an essential part of your education is learning how to write and communicate effectively. Learning to write is a life-long journey, and while you are at UW it happens through an accumulation of experiences, whether formal (like writing courses) or informal (like working with tutors, writing grad school applications, or participating in language exchange groups).
This site organizes different writing resources that can support you on that pathway, much like a set of tools supports you when you go on a hiking adventure up into the mountains. Some tools are common to all undergraduate students, and others will be unique to your studies, your passions, and your voice.
