The Writing@UW Fellowship, Now in its Second Year, Adopts a New Partner Model

The Writing@UW Fellowship is now in its second year, continuing to support faculty members teaching W courses who want to take their writing instruction to the next level. This program takes place during Winter Quarter 2025 and introduces a new partner model, encouraging faculty to collaborate within their departments or closely affiliated units.

Join a Multilingual Learning Community!

Odegaard Writing and Research Center (OWRC)'s new Multilingual Learning Communities (MLCs) still have room for students to register this term!

This FREE small-group tutoring is designed for multilingual students who are interested in critically reflecting upon and engaging their skills/resources in a collaborative, supportive environment. MLCs offer weekly, tutor-led group support for self-identified multilingual writers taking writing- and reading-intensive courses. 

New Writing Studios Now Open for Fall!

The English 115 Writing Studios are expanding and several new sections are now open this fall! ENGL 115 supports multilingual students who are  enrolled in a composition (ā€œCā€) course at the same time. English 115 builds reading skills so that you can analyze complex texts, and provides lots of one-on-one support as you work on different kinds of writing. Credit/no-credit only. (Does not earn C or W credit).
